My mom has small hands and can't reach the levers for her break/clutch. We bought some new levers for her (boss blades not the ones above) and it made little difference.
So I ground down the small nub that hits the brake "button" when squeezing (bottom lever left side). it gave her about an inch of easy pull before the brake engaged and she was able to engage the break fully.
I also adjusted the clutch so it engaged closer to the grip than before.
Thought that might help some. We tested this on the old pair before applying it to the new ones.
I'm also looking at these risers. They're made for 1.25" bars that step down to 1" at the risers. What's nice about them is they will cover that transition. Notice the machined side of the top clamp.
I could use the 1" risers I have and buy those chrome levers. I hate my bike. It, along with my g/f and daughter, sucks the money right out of me. lol
