hey all. im lookin to buy my first harley, and one has caught my eye. (and forgive me if the terms arent all totally correct, im still in the learning stages of the whole harley thing) its a 1992 dyna low rider, screamin eagle II pipes, flame paint job, drag bars, 80 cube engine, new top end, with 55k miles. im sure theres more on there, i havent REALLY gotten into the details with the dealership yet. the price tag is $8500. is that an average price for a bike that old with that many miles? ive only ever owned jap bikes, and usually after 30k miles, they're shot and in need of some serious tlc.
Yea that seems a little on the high side for me, im sure you can easily find a newer one for around 8500 with a lot! less miles then that, i would look around on craigslist, ebay, cycle trader etc there is some good deals out there now since times are hard, I'd keep looking instead of jumping on the first one you see
