08 Super Glide Custom, I have a new Screamin Eagle air kit and no install direction. Can anyone help me out with a step by step install or mybe post some direction. Looks like it will be simple to install but just want to get it right. I have searched all over and can't find any direction. Thanks to anyone who can help..

Which SE kit do you have? The one I put on my '08 is for older versions but should be the same. I can fax you the install sheet if you have a number. Pretty straightforward really; remove the old cover, filter, breathers, backing plate (unclip the induction module from the backing plate 1st, it's a European pollution thing that hooks to nothing, just under a clip) Remove the gasket from the throttle body, clean it up if required, then put the new parts on in reverse order. New gasket, backing plate, glue on the clip for the induction thingy, clip it in, filter mounting studs (60 in/lbs.) breather screws (144 in/lbs) filter, cover. You reuse some of the fasteners and the breathers and air cleaner mounting studs (at least on mine, use new parts if they came with yours) Make sure the o-rings get installed in the backing plate before you put the breathers in. Use blue loctite on the fasteners and breather threads. The rubber plugs fit into the breathers. Tighteen carefully and evenly and don't over tighten the cover. The backing plate is soft aluminum and can warp causing a leak.
