Did u try putting the stock mufflers back on to see how it ran? And they dont have stage 1's for 09's eh? Sound slike total BS to me cause people on this forum has stage 1 and more im sure on their 09's..But IMO if you put the old air cleaner back on and it still pops they probably did do some kind of download just maybe the wrong one? Usually with just pipes on before you do anything to the Air cleaner they should run fine

What your getting is lean fuel on 0 throttle as the rpms come down. Basically its fuel that it to lean to burn within the combustion chamber but when it gets expelled into the exhaust, the heat burns it causing that decel 'popping'. Fuel managers allow you to increase the richness at 0 throttle allowing it to burn off how it should normally. It's a good idea to get a fuel manager anyways because the newer bikes are run so lean in all aspects of riding.

Check your torco clamps and make sure they are like german virgins good'n'tite I say that cause a few members actually lost their slipoffs ,oops I slipped, Next time you have a download by hd,make sure you change your components before th DL, cause now HD is going to charege you again, and you will be close to the price of a pcV which you probably will need! Also if they installed your slips check there is no leak from the headers, sometimes pipes can be stubborn to remove and the crush gaskets can get mangled while the pipes are being worked.

That's what I thought about the 09 stage 1 downloads. The stealer mechanic that told me that said the only stageone download they have right now is the Screanin Eagle download(???).He said they made about 200 or so minor changes to the EFI on the 09's.The OTHER stealer who did the download didn't tell me otherwise when it was done.SOOO, was it a f*^& up or WTF? I thought once it was back to what it was BEFORE the Hi flow A/C it would be cool..Not so?

Man there is only one SE dl for hd's.it's the standard stage 1 download it takes 20 seconds for the guy to do it,and I'm sure he didn't upload a virus to your ecm! {hopefully anyway}That's why ..check you pipes for leaks!!!
The DL is not really a bad thing you should be running pretty good at stage 1 with it.

..check you pipes for leaks!!! YET? just teasin'
