06 Bob Brake help
A friend of mine gots an 06 street bob. He went to go for a ride last nite and when he got to the stop sign he had no rear brake. When he got home he found the brake line came out of the master cylinder. How does the brake line attach to the master cyl. The dealer is going to pick up the bike but not untill next Tues.

there is a 3/8" star patterned banjo bolt that goes through the banjo phitting. I don't believe you can phind them just anywhere.
You say he lost the one off the M/C. Is it possible he bottomed the bike out and hit it? It is mounted pretty low back there.

I doubt he bottomed out. I just got home from hospital yesterday after having surgery. Not supposed to do much but I told him I would go look at it. He called a few minutes ago, his wife had some surgery last week and fell down the stairs about 4:00 this afternoon. So as soon as he got home from work he had to take her back up to the cities to see her surgeon. I'll try to get over there tomorrow. I'll let you know what I or the dealed find out.

I went out and looked at my softail. Unless the Dynas are way diff there is no way the brake line could just "fall" out.
