Hey Guy's I went to Conrad's in Joliet yesterday for a new rear tire on sale 25% off so I get quoted 255.00 + tax so I wait I get my scoot and the bill is 302.80 so what is this? Well Doc Say's ( service Mgr ) the axle was dry so he added 16.00 for the time to lub and get it out ! OK I go home and my grips are funky so I clean them and then my rear wheel I clean and notice 1st the belt is so tight you could not move it (up or down ) and where they put the stick on wgt's they took off my factory wgt's they scratched the hell out of the wheel so I go back and the Mechanic apologized all over the place and they cant polish the scratches out so the give me a card for a free 150.00 detail am I being an ******* or do they owe me a new wheel ? I mean you can tell that he used plyer's back and forth to get them off ! I feel for the Mechanic but it's my laced chrome FXDC custom wheel (500.00 according to part's) you can bearly see it but every time I clean it I will ! So please advise me Guy's yes or just let it go !

Yes they owe you a new wheel, they also should have told you about the axle before they did anything.

you got raped on the rear tire too. I have an independant that replaced both front and rear on my street bob for 279.00 that was with me bringing in the wheels...but come on....255 is 25 percent off?????? I call BULLSHIT on them.
