My Fatbob Hand Tooled seat base.
I decided I wanted a hand tooled leather seat for my Fatbob and decided I'd hand tool everything myself including the dash and pillion seat.
A proffesional will finish them off with lacing and staining once I've done everything.
I've never done this before but here is the result of my tooled seat base which I did yesterday. I'm stoked with the result.
The whole project will take me a while but will look boss once completed.

The pattern is sweet. Have you just traced it to tooling leather, or on seat/saddle leather? If its on seat leather, someone will have to stitch the pattern in. If you're planning on tooling leather and have it carved in, be prepared for one h#ll of an uncomfortable ride.

I traced the design onto tooling leather and have cut and bevelled the design into the leather. The pic I showed is the first pass. I just finished going over it to give it more depth and man it looks great, also just finished tooling the dash and it looks sweet.
