Yup, I am now the proud owner of a headlight the size of a freight train's....
I traded the stock seat off the OL's sporty for a Headwinds 7" Mariah Bullet headlight bucket (minus guts). Spent 150 on the guts and mount. Had to do some minor modifications cause the set screw holes were stripped out. All in all, it didnt turn out looking too bad.
I also dont wanna hear no crap about none of the other lights not having visors. Give me a break. One piece at a time....
Like my daddy always said, children should be seen and not heard. I'm still working on that concept.
have to admit that when i saw the thread title - i thought this was going to look bad - but in reality I think the running lamps looked too big with your stock setup. everything looks in the right proportion with the 7 inch lamp - looks great.
hey you need to put some visors on the other lights. hehehehe i couldnt resist. looks good though on the bike. i was think of going with a bigger light. iam thinking of going with the springer light housing thats 6-1/2, but the 7 doesnt look that bad at all. thanks for posting. jackyl

I think that looks outstanding, man. I went with the 6-1/2" just recently, myself. I think the MoCo designs the stock headlights to be replaced. Too bad most of us are not buying our replacements from them...
