Does anybody know anything about the 113" Screaming Eagle kit? Im thinking about upping the performance on my 08 Super Glide and cannot find an answer.
I was told a Rinehart w/Bub 2 into 1 exhaust, I already have SE Heavy Breather and Race Tuner with maybe 260 cams would be pretty bad but not sure.
It would give you the most cubes available from SE, requires case splitting and boring for larger cylinders. You can do an awful lot with a 103 top end change for a lot le$$...even using SE parts...you should "define" what you're after before you start building, though. Educate yourself, too, to guard against the rush of salesmen heading for your open wallet.
Here's an example of what can be done with a 103.....probably add 10% for a 113.....but there will be other considerations.
If you're going larger than 107", then be prepared. As sharkey said, you have to bore the cases for larger jugs. If you're going that far, you'd be crazy not to not stroke it too. You have to do something with the weak crank anyway at 113", may as well go at least 120"! Now you have a real crank, and making a truck load of power!
But, I think you'll be surprised by a GOOD 103 or 107. Plus will be quite a bit cheaper. But if $ is no object, then there is no replacement for displacement!

Agree with everything this man said...I would also suggest stickin with a 103 & 1st things 1st, it is a MUST DO to educate yourself & not just for a couple days! Put some time in & call some shops, ask tons of questions on anything you don't know fully. Try not to sit and stare and compare dyno sheets as there is alot of fudging with em.
Sharkeys build is a 103 to go bye, honest dyno sheet, well thought out parts list & a build that will work when ya want it to with big torque down low & good amount of hp up high.
