Question Am I going nuts?

I am looking to buy a Harley and sat on two different wide glides. One I had to toe my foot in to work the shifter and other I had to for the brake. My question is, are these bikes set up wrong or have they been dumped? Has anyone had this same experience?

Thanks Tim

They were setup differently.... when I took a WG for a test run, I found I had to toe in on both shifter and brake quite a bit.... didn't like it, but knew it could be fixed with differently shaped levers, or spacers.

Both are adjustable. If you like the bike get it and have them adjust the levers to where they are comfortable for you.

Easy fix when it comes to something small like that. As long as they aren't scraped a little bend would be easy to bend back.

Kury makes a longhorn shifter peg and brake pedal. I teamed them up with Kury pegs with heel stirrups. I'm lovin life.

I am guessing that, like me, your legs are a little short and in order to touch the controls, you have to almost reach around the horn or AC.

I moved my horn so it doesn't interfere with my leg and also got an longer shift peg.

The brake pedal just needed adjusted closer to me.

Like the rest of the crowd said, they're just set up different, easy fix.
