Riding out from VA , I think it is 1800 miles give or take. Leaving on 29 July and I am not sure when I am coming back as I have a little more than two weeks off. I will be camping at Katmadu.
This will be my 14th year, leaving the 31st from gulf side of Florida, arriving on the 2nd. We have rented the same house for the last 6 years, it is so great to be able to cook, laundry, ect. all there!! Around 5800 miles counting the ridin we do there. Hoping for better weather this year, last year over 2000 miles of it was in heavy rain, but weather there was great. We stay till the 28th of Aug. and get alot of great ridin in after all the traffic leaves. Ride safe and hope you don't have a problem finding a place to stay.
My buddy and I want to go, it will the 2nd trip for both of us. Coming from Oregon, about 1500 miles one way.
