Ok, got away for just a minute. My 3 year old is sick and it's too dark to get decent pictures. I'll be sure to get some pics and measurements in the morning and post them up for ya. Sorry for the delay, hope this will work out for us.
Extension plates are 3" bolt to bolt.
Shift linkage is 12 3/4", or 16 3/8" from the ends of the ball joints.
Brake rod is right at 23 1/4", shaft only, not the threads on the end.
Your bike is a lot cleaner than mine. lol. I'll clean them up when I take them off. My linkages are not bent like the ones in the photo, but they are Kuryakyn brand. (The ones in the pic may be for a softail or something.) If we're a go on this, I guess we could just pay our own shipping and call it square? I'm not looking to make anything, just need to move my stuff back.
Is it me or does your shift rod look different? Mine doesn't have any ball joints. It has a slit on each end with a hole throught it for a connecting pin. Mine may not work on yours and vice versa.
Ok then, all ready to go. I'm hardly a mechanic and these things came off in about 15 minutes. I remounted my controls to test fit them in the standard location...Holy crap! I can reach without cowboy boots on! lol. After I get the mailing info and figure out how to package them, they'll be on their way. (Still need a good cleaning, though) This is awesome.
Freakin sweet. To those that are following this thread to see what happens, I spoke with CountryPunk on the phone just now. We're definately making the trade.
Thats what I call good kharma. Thanks for everyone else's input as well.
