Pushrod clips
put the top of the clip in
then use a narrow screwdriver at the bottom of the clip
with the tip of the screwdriver at the top of the lower cover
lift the handle of the screwdriver pushing the spring loaded lower cover down
do not get too violent, but you do need to put the pressure on.
push the clip into place when you have levered everything far enough
it will snap into place.
never tried to type that before. hope it is coherent.

The covers really are too long. This sucks.
I'm trying to understand how they could be too long. If you are using the same push rod tubes, then is the head actually shorter than the stock head? Makes no sense to me.Sorry I couldn't be any help.
