I think all the postst that I've read about windshield bag rattle are between the bag and the windshield. I purchased the bag below and the thing rattles BAD where you turn the "eye screw" and the metal part on the flap. Does anyone else have this bag with the same problem and how did they fix it without making it look horrible
Guys, I've heard of everyone trying the Fork Bag under the light to help with windshield buffeting but how about these inside the shield bags. I'd think they'd help with the air coming up from behind the shield??? Anyone.
Not to hijack this thread or anything.....
I think a rubber washer crammed down tightly on top of the metal tab would help.....

Silenced mine with a thin rubber washer slipped over the twist-latch. It tightens up the flap connection and eliminated the [back of flap] metal-to-metal, both of which were contributing to my rattle.
Yes, get some "self sticking" felt, at any hardware store and stick it to the "inside" metal part of the top flap. It comes in a square that you can cut into any size you need. NO MORE RATTLE, and no one can see the felt.......
PS I have the same bag you do.......and the rattle drove me nuts.

That did the trick! I think I need to get rid of the stock pipes so I don't hear so many other things
