I don't think you have to recalibrate anything. I could be wrong, though. But MPH seemed on point.

Wow, this may be getting pushed to the top of my list of mods that I'm starting early next month.

Yes, I have been told the speedo will be off about 5-7 mph, showing you are going faster than you really are. I can live with that...

Does anyone offer anything larger that the stock 70 tooth rear pully for the Dyna's?

Question

I can live with the speed difference also. What I can't live with is having the odometer over state the actual miles I'm putting on the bike.

My car speedo is registers 1 mile 53' short of an actual mile. Doesn't sound like much but you are recording an extra 1,000 miles for every 100,000 you drive.

What is the "5 to 7 mph" difference equal to? .1, 1, 10 extra miles per 100?

Well here I go again, another mod that is a MUST!!!! Great idea!!! Looks like this will be the very next thing done. Dumb question, what is the stock tooth on the 06's? Just curious, also the belt would need to be changed also or not? Just looking to get the parts list going.

I believe the pulley on the 06s and up is 32 tooth...and NO, you do not need to change the belt. Stock will be fine.

I just had a thought. Would this mod cause the rear tire to break traction easier?

http://www.bigboyzcycles.com/Gearratio.htm They have a chart and you can compare RPM's through out the gears. Just put in 30 in the alternate sprocket box and the numbers will come up. This Big Boyz site Rocks for comparing different products.
