I rolled up on him at a light and noticed the rear badge and he saw me noticing it off a red light .actually we both rolled on hard at about 20mph. I was quite shocked to have him right on my tail the whole time. I see today on the net that the XJR is a pretty hard core sedan. 400hp sub 5 sec 0-60
I still would have thought my bike would have handled him better, but I guess those are just some really fast Jags.
I had a Z06 come up next to me on a divided highway the other day and jam on it……figured he would have eaten my lunch rolling it on at 70mph I just watched him go.
Anybody run any cars? What came of it? I would think my bike would be quite a bit faster than most cars, but then again, I weigh in at about 230lbs – so, I’m not helping my bike’s speed any.
Looking at what I’ve found today regarding expected quarter mile times and 0-60 times – I guess the XJR and Street Bob are about an even match. Thus my experience last night.
Yeah, I didn’t know what to expect…..I know the Dyna isn’t super fast, but seeing that big ole Jag right on my *** was surprising.
My Harley is as fast as I think I want to go. I have no need for a bike faster than a Lambo. LOL I would just tend to think that even a Harley is quicker than most cars…..maybe not 400hp monster sedans tho.
I raced one of those turbo charged chevy cobalts. Pretty badass car. I had a few inches on him. It was damn close. Thats a fast car. But I didn't get a good start. We were at the red light and we both started driving normally. He sped up, I sped up, and we just hit it from there up to 100 MPH. I had to slow down cause I had my girl on the back hanging on for dear life! LMAO!
I smoked a Lambo when I was on my ZX12R, I know what fast is and it's not my HD, I don't race anybody when I'm on it.
I hear that.. In my case, my CBR 900RR.... Don't exactly race much, but that bike will toast any car on the road, but my HD, maybe not,,,,,

I hear that too..... My HD is fast enough for me to be honest.. And it is faster than most cars, but I rarely will race cars to find out for sure. I'm happy with just enjoying the ride (and added comfort over my torturous CBR).

Funniest thing I had was a postal van trying to outrun me on the twisties. I was on a 1050 Triumph it was just never going to happen, I could have fallen asleep and still gone past him, hope he had an empty van or that was going to be one f...ed up mail delivery
