I found an FXDP solo seat at Ebay ($50). I'm not sure if it will fit your bike. If you want I can take it off, make a picture of the frame side and give you the measurements, just let me know!

I dont know if you knew it or not but, you can search Harley's Parts by Year and Model.
That will help you get part numbers.

Hey I really appreciate that. Supposedly if it fits an '03 then it will fit a '96 but since you gave me the measurements I will try to make sure.

That's your current seat right? You're not selling it? When you bought it on Ebay was it like a one time thing the person was selling or was it from a company that may have had more?

Yes, it's the current seat indeed. When I got it from the Ebay auction it was a one time item.
The H-D part# for this seat is 52219-01 and retails at chicagoharley.com and LSHD1.com for US$ 135,20. If you don't want to buy new, keep on checking Ebay for this item, they pop up now and then or try to find a H-D dealer laike Barnett who trades in used cop bikes and take off some typical parts before they put them on the used-bike market.
I hope the Mrs. is doing fine in the next couple of month and you'll be blessed with a healthy baby!
