After 4.5 weeks my 06 Street Bob is home with new trans case, inner primary and bearings. So far so good. No more roller skate wheel noises and oddly enough it shifts a little smoother too. Just got to watch for leaks and any odd sounds.
One thing that really pissed me off besides the 4.5 weeks it took to get the job done. After i got home from the dealer I gave the bike a second once over and found the rear axle nut spun off so much it was right up against the e clip on the end of the axle. Considering at one point I was on the highway doing about 75, needless to say I was really pissed. Called the dealer right away and the service manager apologized and said bring it in for a couple hours and he would go over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure all is tight and straight.
Now I gotta worry about what else this "mechanic" forgot to tighten. I hate letting others touch my bike but this was a $700+ job for parts alone. Total bill was like $1360....thank god Harley's picking up the tab.

Glad you got your "full monty fix", and that HD picked up the tab. Four and a half weeks was a long time for them to do the job, but at least you're rolling again with a little more confidence that you've seen the last of the IPB issue (at least, that's what I try to tell MYself!) Best of luck to you.
