Hi all,
Got a chance to get used H-D Dyna leather saddlebags 90369-06C cheap ... H-D site says fits '02-later Dyna® models except '02-'05 FXDWG. Does anyone know what's the reason it won't fit my '02 FXDWG..different brackets, shape of the bags or what...?
Good question. I have bags on my WG that were for the superglide. They fit perfect. No relocation of anything. 79300-06C
Actually, doesn't the older WG mount the rear turn signal on the last fender mount bolt?
I just googled images of older WG. Looks like they do use the rear fender mount to also mount the turn signal. You'll more than likely have to relocate the turn signals to use those bags.
BTW, those are nice bags.

I would imagine that it's because the WG's have the bob-tail rear fender, and the rear turn signals are mounted to the side plates. I've been casually looking for a set of throw-overs for my '04 WG.

Even if you use Dyna bags dedicated for WG (79300-04C) you still have to relocate turn signals:
"Fits '02-'05 FXDWG models. Does not fit with Rear Axle Covers or Detachable Docking Hardware. Requires Turn Signal Relocation Kit P/N 68718-02."
For me, both models look very similar...I quess if 79300-06C fits all Dyna's, so does this 90369-06C, eh?
Thanks for help, will let you know how they fit if I get them..
