Default Superglide Handlebars question...

Hi,
I've seen this question addressed some, but I'm hoping to see pics of other folks Superglides with bars other than these awful buckhorns...

I'm thinking of putting nightster bars on, but the guys at my local HD shop tell me it's not possible.

I want to use my existing cables too...

If anyone has photos of the bar setups they use, I'd love to see them!

Thanks!

nightster bars will work fine without any cable replacement. Slap the moron you talked to at your dealer and request to talk to someone that knows what they are talking about.

Thanks Rounder... I need to slap myself around, actually. I asked this question once before and forgot. Though I'd still love to see everyone's pics... The Superglide is such an overlooked bike and I love mine, so I'm always on the lookout for cool SG setups.
Thanks!

Which aspect of the buckhorns do you dislike? Too low? Don't look right? Want your knuckles more forward than to the side? I love the feel of the buckhorns, can't imagine swapping them. I just want a little more height so I might be getting a 4 inch riser to use with them and see how that looks and feels.

Mini-Apes .... they do require cable changes.

Default handlebar set up

I'm pretty sure these are wide-glide bars I have on mine, if I remember right. A little bit higher and very comfortable.
