I called them today and I think these bars will work for me. Going to get my seat first and see how far back it takes me. Thanks. And if you have more photos of the bike with those bars to post I'd love to see them. Mostly where the bar clamp is, cause according their dimensions, they are more narrow than my stock bars.

This is the only other pic I have handy. I traded her in last winter so I'm unable to get better pics of the clamps. It wasn't an issue though.

They are the HD fat mini apes, with a rise around 10.5. The fat risers put them another 2" higher than the stock risers.

The +4 Barnett Platinums are perfect length for the 08 FXDC. Had to solder in 8" wire extension though, to take the wires internal.

I've been searching the HD site for XL1000 bars and ca't find any...
I REALLY like the black and since I eventually want to paint my bike orange and black (for The Baltimore Orioles, NOT HD) black bars would be perfect.

Thanks everyone for posting pics. It's so awesome to see guys who love the FXD like I do posting pics of their setups!

Hey, noob here. My gf actually has an '09 superglide and needs some pullback. Anybody know how much rise/pullback she can get without screwing with the cables?
Your's truly will probably b doing the work, unless she wants to spend more cash getting the cables done too!
Speaking of idiots behind the counter- I asked a guy at the dealership if they had something to extend the kickstand as it's so tight to the primary- he just scratched his head. I walked over to the accessory aisle and found it....knew they made them. wtf?

4" pull back risers are the most you can do without changing out cables. You can squeak 6", but you'll really be asking a lot of the clutch and throttle cables
