Default Bob Question

I just traded my 883 Custom for a Bob, It should be in sometime soon, not soon enough. But here is the question. I was reading the Harley reviews on the Powersportnetwork, and one guy says there have been several incidents with the rear shock mounting bolts breaking. Have any of you had this problem? Is this something that I should look into before I sign on to the Bob?

Thanks

That looks a little fishy to me. I have not seen one problem documented anywhere else about the shock mounts. Of course the guy did not say how much he weighed, or if he was riding offroad. Hell just get rid of the shocks and make it a rigid.

News to me. Haven't had a single issue with my Bob, so I am picking that it is a one off and probably caused by other factors he doesn't mention.

I just installed the progressive shocks, I hope that wont effect the pressure on that bolt. Do any of you think that it would. They are the 11" shocks. So they are shorter than stock.

I'm sorry, but to me that whole thing sounds like BS... If I had THAT MUCH TROUBLE WITH A HARLEY.... I'd never buy another one....

Please don't let SPECTREXX hear about this. He'll wet himself and never leave the house again. Well, there's always depends.
