On paper the Dyna Super Glide and Sportster arent that much different in length, etc. What are the big differences other than motor? Being 6'1 and 250 lbs would I fit much better on a Super Glide? Im currently looking at a 2005 Sportster or a 2001 Super Glide, the sportster is cheaper but almost stock. But both arent close to me so have no way to sit on both and see teh differences for myself.
if you are 6'1" I would suggest the Super Glide. The Sportster will feel small for you. On the other hand, just for scootin around town the Sportster would be a lot of fun. If you plan on riding a lot though, get the SG.
I plan to do some beach trips which is around 100-150 miles depending on where I go. Will the Dyna ride that much better the Sportster? I havent seen both side by side, but want to make sure whatever I get im comfortable so I can enjoy the ride

oh man, night and day difference. I am sure others will post on here. You will get lots of opinions.
I cant compare a 05 Sportster to a 01 SG but my 08 SG feels much larger and rides much better than my buddies 08 Sportster. The Sportster is a fun bike but just not near as comfortable cruising at 60+.

The forwards on a Dyna are farther out than a sportsters. My buddies sportster has alot more vibration at 60+ especially in the pegs.
Just to give you an idea about the difference in feel of the bikes, just go to a dealer and sit on the the SG and Sportie. They may not be the exact same bikes your looking at, but you will definetly get some idea of the differences between the two.
