Thanks everyone for the replies! One more adjustment and I managed to break one of the clamps so I'm done till Tuesday when I can give the dealer some more money. Off to the movies now!
Thanks,

First part totally true I can ride 100 mph with my FF and only feel it if i'm checking a blind spot. it feels like my neck will twist and pluck me into mid air if I'm not careful!!
You must have used a poorly designed or fitted FF helmet! I don't get any of that, just a little more air through one vent or another. :-)

The helmet is fne,in fact for a FF it lets in just a nice breeze at any speed and isn't noisey at all. i may have exaggerated a little for effect, but if you feel nothing at 100 miles an hour when you turn your head sideways I'd be surprised.
i bought the greg. height shield 19 inch off ebay for a 200 but had alot of the same problem. i tryed moving it up and down forward and back did no good. i cut mine down to the low pro height and helped a little. cut 2 more inches off and made it alot better. i can see now when i ride over 60mph. i cut just over 7 inches off my standerd height shield. i would post pics for you but my 3year old dropped the camera yesterday and busted it. have to go get a new one this week.
I got a set of lowers from Rifle. That stopped the buffeting for me. While you are riding put uour feet out in front of you. If the buffeting goes away it's the wind coming up from below the windshiele and the lowers will help eliminate it.
Any chance you could post a picture of your bike with these on?
I just bought the HD QD standard height windshield for my 09 Fat Bob. As much as I never liked windshields, it actually doesn't look all that bad on the bike. I am getting a little older and was looking to get a little more comfort on extended highway rides. I was excited anticipating the more comfortable ride the windshield would provide. WRONG. I was extremely dissapointed. At speeds approaching 60 mph and above, my eyballs felt like 2 marbles being shaken in a tin can. My vision in front of me was doubled and shaking so much you could not even focus or see clearly. After 15 minutes my eyeballs were shaking so much I had a terrible headache. Off came that $520 cdn POS.
Does HD not road test these products? Trying to ride with this thing at highway speed is an accident waiting to happen. I don't need a windshield at all for driving 50 mph or less. Will the lowers really help? Hate to throw more money at solving this problem than absolutely necessary. After reading a little I have discoverd that similar problems are not uncommon. You would think that HD or the dealer might mention something before you buy.
