You can tell a lot about a persons humanity by the way he treats the weaker among us. In this case his helpless dog that counted on and needed his help and the jerk turned his back. Don't ever trust this guy again and if we all lived close by we could ride over and give this heartless bully a blanket party and then my 4 year old yellow lab named Chance could **** all over him.

I hate to hear that sh*t! My dog is like my kid and I can't even imagine not caring for him.

I've got a similar story, but the owner was NOT a friend of mine, but a neighbor. And to beat all he was a friggin EMT and should KNOW better, but he is an idiot. We (my other neighbor and I) found the dog while it was still alive and dragged a hose over from my house to try and get it cooled down, called animal control and the cops. OK here is something that really pisses me off about living in a small town. The guy who owned the dog has a father with a big name in the town. He owns the EMT company! The animal control officer is a part time job, so guess what his full time job was. Yep, he is an EMT that works for this guys dad. So what happened to the idiot? NOTHING!! My neighbors and I all filed complaints at the police station and still nothing happened. So what can you do, besides tell the guy what I really thought of him. Not much without getting myself into a lot of trouble. Anyway that was about 2 years ago and I now longer live there, but it still bothers me, especially when I hear other stories like this.

So yes please make sure that any animals that you have outside have plenty of water and shade!!!!

Thank you "but I'll try 2 try" for the reminder!!

Ghandi said, "You can judge a civilization by how they treat their animals." I've known this guy for almost 17 years since we were 10. Just want to keep it from happening again, cause you see it on the news every summer.
