Default Anutter pipe thread...

I have Screamin' Eagle II pipes on my WG and they sound pretty goo but I want it a bit louder. I thought about trying to take the baffles out but when I took the two rear screws out they didnt budge.

Has any one else here taken the baffles out of these and if so how?

Slide hammer, someone posted a homade tool they used to pull baffles, may be in the under 50 thread or just do some searches... But your gonna loose backpressure without baffles! Might want to look into big city thunder baffles

If they've been in there awhile, it may be difficult without damaging the baffles and/or the pipe. Try to twist the baffle to break it loose. The neighbor had to drive his out from the engine end. With manufacture tolerances the way they are, some baffles fit tighter than others.

Take them off the head pipes and knock them out from the front to the back. Then get some BCT baffles and it will sound good.

Thanks... I assume the Big City's are readily available and sound better than the SE's?

I'm reading else where that they are really really loud. You guys agree? I want louder, not loudest...lol

I havent heard them but rumor has it that they are louder and deeper! Loudest would probably be no baffles at all.

Aren't the BCT's just a glorified lollipop baffle that you can make from about $5 worth of hardware stuff? This is what I've read, I've never seen them personally. (I assume they don't show pictures for This reason..)
