Here's mine...I have only had it a couple weeks and I already put on black V&H Short Shots, Black Burly Slammer shocks, and painted the air cleaner cover black. I have a Forcewinder intake, black of course, waiting to be installed. Next comes black powder coat on the fork lowers and triple trees..then goodbye chrome accents on the primary and elsewhere. Now back to eBay to find black risers and black handlebars..gotta love all that riding versus all that waxing!
I just installed a set of gaiters on my 03 FXDL. You can pick them up at your local HD dealer.
They were under $15 each. They are stock from a Sportster Nightster. PN 45451-07.

I elevated the front end and slipped the sliders down thru the trees just far enough to slip the gaiter onto the tube. Didn't take too long and I figured if I changed my mind that I could just cut them off.
well, just got back from a beautiful 1500 mile trip to Tenn and NC, blue ridge parkway, wheels through time etc. finally got a couple decent pics and wanted to share..
knowing now that i will prob keep this thing forever, i really want to black out the front end this winter, AND GET SOME DAMN WHITEWALLS!!!
