Definitely a BLS fan too. I like Slipknot but not as diehard a fan as other bands.
I was thinking. If your wife wears the same helmet when she rides her own and doesn't mention vibes or not being able to see, helmet isn't the issue. Maybe allow her to ride you b!tch and see if you can figure it out.
Did she have the same helmet with the previous bike? Is half visor new? Her hairdo different. less hair sloppy fit on the helmet. Are both bikes configured the same, i.e. windshields, backrests/pads, she needs to help you out on this.
I told her I might have to just buy a new bike and see how it does.
There is the answer
is it highway speeds only or all the time I doubt it is the helmet at low speed what do you have your shocks set on if you are bottoming out you can get a lot of vibration from thr rear motor mount. Also check the mounts to make sure they are tight
You might check that the compensating sprocket is tight and secure on the crank shaft the next time you get into the primary. I had similar odd vibrations and recently had this sprocket back completely off and off the crankshaft splines.

If the OP was agreeing with his wife about vibes that may be good advice to follow. He hasn't mentioned once that he also feels the vibes, unless I'm missing something.
I'm leaning tword the helmet, it is only an issue at higher speeds. She didn't mention it until we got home and she won't be able to go until this weekend. I have been meaning to check the motor mounts and will, but the vibration is not a issue for me.
Thanks a lot for the help, I couldn't get anything out of her except there was a problem and she didn't know what it was. And a lot of cussing.
My wife was complaining of the same thing (can't see, too much vibration) ... did the alignment as per the service manual but have not had a chance to see if there is an an improvement, hopefully the weather cooperates and we can ride soon.
Hey B, That is kinda what I expected to hear when I brought this up here. I have a service manual, and I'm sure that it won't hurt, but I don't have any problem myself. Do you notice much vibration or is it just her? Thanks for the help.
