Looks great. I like the low bars and an bare bones would look great on there.

Hard to see what wires you think are too close, you should have been able to move them up a little when you took off the lift. I wouldn't worry about corrosion, but heat might be an issue if they are too close to the heads, keep an eye on them for signs of meltdown. With your style of bike, the lines without the lifts are much sleeker. I just put on low bars as well, (not show in sig) and it transformed the whole character. In short, I do like what you've done.
I was wondering how you handled your front sigs, then realized I can't tell where they are.

Much better WITHOUT the lift!! they look like a$$. remind me of the old Kawasaki 454.

I have to admit it does look quite a bit better without the tank lift but that seat still needs to go. If you get a solo seat put on it I would be curious to see how it looks.

You might want to clean the paint off them rear shocks.....
