nice low rider. i wanted a low rider when i bought the sport, none in stock, didn't want to wait three months. i have made a lot of mod's it is much the same as a low rider now. i was wondering if anyone else had made mod's to a sport.
Nice to see another sport rider. I like the bobs and low riders but the bobs weren't around in 05 and you low rider guys can have all that chrome. Wash, wax, and quick polish of what little chrome I have and I'm on the road. While you spend hours with a rag and polish making your bike shine just so you can go get bugs and dust all over it again. You can keep all that.
as for mods to the sport I have made a few and I'm in the process of making more.
Mods to date:
forward controls
stealth grips
stealth pegs (foot, passenger and shifter)
Chrome And Rubber FX Brake Pedal Pad
profile custom sloted stem mirrors
V&H short shots
Black Cast Aluminum Disc Rear Wheel
chrome bolt covers
Mods in process of putting on:
Bobtail fender
Wild ones 500 pullback bars
dakota digital gauges
60 spoked black powder coated 21" front wheel
Slotted Hand Control brake and clutch Levers
Mods in thought:
Black 11.5" Progressive 440 series shocks
That is it for now but I'm always open for new ideas
Reese, The bike looks nice. I like all the chrome but I'm glad it is you that has to polish it and not me. Give me the wrinkle black finish it stands out from all the chrome and is a lot easier to take care of.
