Just wondering how do you run the signle light wire through the Bars because I have a 2008 superglide and my buddy has a 2008 streetbob and the wiring goes through the bottom of the of the switches, so do I drill holes in my 2008 superglide?
Do your switch housings not have the hole for them? if not, drill it. There is a rubber grommet there so the wires don't get chaffed or cut. Look at your bud's street bob.

Here is a link from the tech section of the forum dealing with internal wiring. The pictures are not viewable, but it offers some info. Use the search feature for an abundance of info.
Stock 1" bars make for a tight fit for the control's wiring harnesses. Trying to pull the signal wiring in addtional will be even more of a challenge. I chose to relocate my signals to avoid this.
Be careful not to compromise the integrity of the bars by drilling them. I purchased pre-drilled bars instead of taking any risks.
Its gonna be a tight fit in your stock bars. Your best bet is to relocate your signals, if that is what you were talking about, to your trees. Its in the under 50 buck mods in the sticky thread at the top of this here forum. Also you gonna have to drill holes for wires to enter bars and cut a slot at the bottom of your bars for the wires to exit the bars. Just be sure you deburr and smooth everything out so your wires to rub thru the insulation.
The bars I'am putting on my bike are the fat mini-apes and they are predirlled but the housings where the switches are have no holes like my freinds street bob.
Are you talking your switch housings? They don't need holes drilled in them. I've got the fat mini apes on my 08 FXDC, same as yours. No problems guy....
The wires normally come out the 'inboard' open end of the switch housing, when you have 'dimpled' bars. However the fat mini apes are drilled at the right location, so that when you place the switch housings over the bars, the wires fit right into the holes at the same location.
However you will need to add about 8" of wire to your stock control wires, like shown in my picture above.
Let me know if you want some close ups, of my install.

Could you post pictures of the install and did you join the wires inside the bars?
When you use the surch option in the Dyna forum and search for "internal wiring" a lot of threads show up.
