been waiting.....
Guess it's my turn for the infamous Inner Primary blues! Just turned 10k and been hearing a rattling/scraping sound from the primary that stops as soon as the clutch is pulled in. Stopped by the dealership..and naturally..they've never heard of the problem..didn't even remember having me sign the 15k inspect or replace paperwork. I'm taking the bike..06 Bob..in Saturday. Guess this will test the integrity of the dealership. Wish me luck.

Educate yourself. Search for my thread "Finally, Good News..."...it should still be active, but may have sunk to page 10-15 by now. All the info you need. Also read another IPB thread that should be within just a few threads of this (your) thread. Good luck. One more thing; the service techs arent stupid, evil, or malicious regarding this issue, they're just ignorant/uninformed. Take the time to educate your shop on this (spoon-feed, not force-feed!), using the info, diagrams, service manual scan, and letters you'll find in my thread.

is it only while moving .
I have a whine when I let off the throttle but dosent go away
when I pull the clutch in .
It seems it started shortly after the dealer fixed an inner primary leak
