can i ask how much you paid for it????? I would love to build soemthing like that. How much would something like that cost to build. just flat out basic bare bones, No turn signals. no 2 up riding. minimal fenders. If any on here would have any guesstimates as to what it would cost. please let me know. Thanks
Well he paid $8,500 for it. I added stuff up and that probably barely covers all the parts. Everything is brand new on it. You could build something similar for $9-$10K I'm sure, considering you did all the work.
With a sprung seat I don't think the ride is bad at all. I love how you feel the power the instant you roll the throttle. I've rode alot of rigids and some ride better than others. It's definately not a 300 or 400 miles in a day bike though. That's why it'll be nice to have my rigid for short rides and my Bob for cruising on long rides with the girlfriend.

That's pretty much how I was looking at it. I think the seat will have a lot to do with how it rides. Spring seats are probably a must for all but the most hardcore iron asses.
