does ANYONE know where i can find a set of fxdxt bags? i have been looking all over for these and they're like 600 apiece! i think saint said he got a good deal on a pair, anyone heard of a stash of these bags? they are im possible to find. any help is appreciated, thanks.
I have looked and looked. I found an fxdxt for sale on craigslist and tried to get the guy to sell me his bags. No luck. I think that other than HD it may be a problem.
I have an FXDXT. Be aware the standard bags just snap on and there is no means of making them more secure. Anyone can walk off with them if you turn your back! Harley makes a locking kit for some of their detachable bags, but not these. Surely there are other similar looking bags out there?
I searched for years before I found mine. I almost feel guilty (not really) for the price I paid for mine. A guy in town has an FXDXT and has no idea the fine piece of machine he owns. I noticed that he never had the bags on the bike so I asked him if he had them and would be interested in selling them. Told me to make an offer...so I gave him a 100 dollar bill and never looked back!
Good luck finding a set, and when you do....be prepared to pay dearly for them, unless you luck up like I did.

Check on Instagram: @fxr_n_dyna_parts_trader or hit up @the_t_sport_whore -- And, yes they will go for around $600-$750 for a set, not a piece. If you're seeing a set selling for $1,200 that's probably a scam, or it's just way too high. I got a really clean pair for $750.

Well done for waking up this oldy-but-goody! Since I posted above, ten years ago, my wife and I have bought a Sportster for her and also a pair of FXDXT-style bags for it, courtesy of LeatherPro. Unlike the original bags, these do have a security system to prevent easy removal and work very well.
