Thanks fella's. I'm working on trying to find a solo seat at the moment to throw on during the week. Just waiting for the right seat to come up at the right price. I just missed a barebones for sale unfortunately. That sucked!
Thanks Vic. I say go for it man. Its a very different feel and its a lotta fun. But you've gotta have mids on though.. I had forwards riding like this for a couple days and it was the worst riding position ever.
Yeah, I HATE that little gap under the fender and seat. I gotta do something about that cause its just not right. It shouldn't be like that. I don't like the way this seat fits. I'll see what I can do about that.
Thanks bro. I liked the seat mostly cause it was something different, and it kinda gave the bike that cafe' style look. The seat is a Corbin Rumble. Pretty comfy.. firm but comfy.
I got it from Zannotti's. I don't have the part number off the top of my head, but it came out to something like $110. But there's quite a wait for this thing. Took 3 weeks to get to me. It takes 14 business days for this part.

That is a badass bike man!! Do you still have it? It looks F'ing amazing. Really diggin' that paint job too!
No she's long gone , i sold it for my 1996 fatboy back in 96 , the color was from 1992 turquise and white , i had specially ordered the painted tin from HD which was not offered on the lowrider that year.. it was one of a kind and i do miss it !
I really like it. I like how the aerodynamics of the fairing meets the seat and the rider sits right in a "pocket". The lines of everything work very well. Hope this makes sense. LOL. Looks awesome!
Careful or you'll have everyone on the forum throwing their apes away and adding fairings. Nice to see you shake things up.
I'll add my 2 cents. 1 Consider a chin fairing. 2 Go with your thing --or- with the consensus and end up with mediocre (a bike built by commitee) not that this applies.lol

People either love the street fighter/cafe racer look of a small fairing on a dyna or they hate the way it changes the traditional look of the front end. I am obviously one of the former.

Yeah, I really liked the fact that it was a bit of a change from everyone elses bike, ya know?
I'm a HUGE fan of the cafe racer look.. I will be building one in the near future out of a CB750. Just gotta find some time/money, ya know? Anyway, thanks for the UP's fella's.
