I took them off of my 07 dyna and NEVER looked back! Looks good if you want a gritty looking dyna. When I traded it in, the parts department called and wanted me to bring in the strut covers, belt guards, front and rear turn signals, etc. They should have just looked them up on ebay, lol.

Took mine off a while back mostly because they were brushed steel finish, like the battery box trim I repainted for the same reason. If they were chrome I might have left them on, but now thinking about doing a wrinkle finish or black chrome. I like how it looks now so there's no rush.
