I finally got all the parts and I'm hoping to get around to installing a mini tach on my '08 Fat Bob sometime this week. I have the silver face mini-tach (68986-04), bracket (67268-06B), and housing (67523-04). I was browsing through a few other threads and the instruction sheet, and have a question I'm hoping someone can help with. I know I need to run the pink signal lead to cavity #3 on the ECM. Does anyone know what kind of connector I need on the signal lead?
The attached pic shows the tach wiring harness as-is (from the kit) with what appears to be a "PACKARD MICRO 64" connector. Is this the right one? I'm hoping someone can confirm so I can make this a quick install and not lose much riding time.
FYI, I did a search and came across the link below. He used connector #72076-00 at the ECM, which appears to be different than the one attached to the signal lead in the kit I have.
