I bought and installed a PCV, SE heavy breather and SE slipons for my 09 Fat Bob. The bike runs greaat until it gets hot and I come to a stoplight. After I sit there for about 15 seconds it starts to feel like there is a miss or its being starved of fuel. I talked to fuel moto and they think its the heat management in the stock ECU but both the dealer and dynojet support do not think that is on the ECU of the Dyna's. Has anyone experienced this before? what did you do to fix it? I am sure this can't be good on the motor. dynojet suggested I raise the fuel levels to cool the bike more.
I think it's probably too much fuel. The map I got from FM was real heavy on fuel. My tuner spent 70% of the dyno time removing fuel from the map Jamie sent me. Check that. I had a hesitation at about 2000-2500 rpms that I thought was a lack of fuel when in fact it was because it had too much fuel.
It sounds exactly like heat management. Dyna's don't have this feature until you get the HD stage 1 download. The rear cylinder's fuel/spark shuts off making it into an air pump to help cool the engine before critical heat can damage your engine. Of course it will stall it's running on one jug. when it's doin its thing you have to hit the throttle a little shot to fire up the rear cyl.

The EITMS can be found on the Dyna class. Our 07 low had it and I turned it off. There should be instructions in your manual telling you how by using your turn signals in a certain sequence but I rolled into my selling dealer the next day and it was put on the digital technician, a few clicks later, no more EITMS.
added note: doing some more reading the switch control on/off sequence may be for 08 and up. The build cut off date seems to be around December of 07 for the 08 bikes.
Hope this helps.

if its there i am guessing its for a reason so im going to leave it on. its not that big of a deal, i just didnt expect it. I will check the manual though to see if it mentioned. I thought a special download had to be put on to activate it.

This is quite off-topic, and I'm sorry about that, but I have to ask: does "WhiteSS" mean what I think it means? Are you a Stormfront, 14-words kinda guy?
Either way, I hope you figure out what's going on with your bike. I'm about to put a PC V in my '09 Street Bob, so I'm interested in any little thing that might go wrong.

Not sure what Stormfront it. My cage is a Trailblazer SS and its white so thats where WhiteSS comes from.
If you installing that PCV yourself, do yourself a favor and find a friend. Routing those wires gets tricky with only two hands.
