Default Muffler Heat Shields ...

Hey guys...

Anybody got these ?? I have some scuffs on my pipes & wanted to cover them up. If so, let me know, & if you have pix of them on, that would be great too...

Thanx
Chap

My question to you is, do the slipons have the scuffs or is it the exhaust pipes ?[sm=confused06.gif]

It's on the slip right near where it connects to the stock head pipe. Only on the bottom pipe too, very weird. Looks like something burnt or something on there, but I tried everything & cant get it off...

thanx

Have you tried some oven cleaner or that mr clean magic eraser . If the slipon is still on the bike cover the frame and swingarm so it does get on the paint . Run the bike so the pipe gets hot before you put the cleaner on it , then brush it on . Anything else you try do it when it has cooled down to the touch. Acetone might work with a soft rag and elbow grease . Make sure the pipes are really cool before using the acetone .[sm=signs003.gif] I hope that helps.........
