I've been using a BDL lockup with my 107" and have had no problems. It was pretty inexpensive and very easy to install. I tried a Rekluse and had nothing but problems. I tried adjusting it about 6 times according to the instructions. The shop that dyno tuned the bike also screwed with it for a little while and it kept slipping.
Thanks for the reply; I'll put auto primary tensioner on the list.
Gonna take the top end off and do a detailed inspection for wear...re-ring or overbore as required, freshen up heads as required...see what we find.
If the crank looks good; then she's back together, hopefully for another couple of years of summer road fun...if the crank needs attention; then probably go back together as a 113.
Have you done the SE Compensator? Thats something I would add. I am doing a 107 build with Hillside Stg 4 heads probably gonna see around 120+ TQ I just got the Barnett Scorpian Clutch I know I probably didnt need it but its a real nice clutch. You can probably just get Barnetts Clutch Pak and AIM VPC like other have suggested but I wanted a whole new clutch....
You did not go wrong with the Barnett Scorpion. It's an awesome clutch and for me has performed flawlessly.
