So this winter I was planning on blacking out my trees, new black bars and re-do the lowers in powder.
Then I started thinking about wheels. I wanna keep a 50/50 mix of black and chrome, so I was thinking about black spokes and putting a 21 up front.
I did a search, but no black spokes on a Dyna. Does anyone have a pics of black spokes with chrome rims on a Dyna. I thought about black rims with red spokes like tweakin (not to bit your stuff, but it's sweet), but there is no red on my bike other then brake lights.
check out www.hdwheels.com, there should be some examples on there. A friend of mine just had a set (chrome rim / black spokes)built up for his SE roadglide and they look sick.

Yea I was all over hdwheels, but I want to see them on the Dyna!! We'll see! This winter I may just send all the spokes to joe for powder coat with everything else. If you got pics of the road glide please post them!!
it is going to be cheaper to powder your own. Jaron, if i am not mistaken and i am almost 100% on this one, i still have my old spokes from when i went to a twisted spoke. I can powder those and send them, if you go wiht a 21 though you will need to purchase new spokes. the powder is the cheap part, the $$$ part comes in when you need to unlace and relace and then true... you can save some $ by doing the lacing yourself, and then about 80 bucks a wheel to true them. if you are going to buy the spokes... get some fatty spokes, they look AWESOME when they are powdered up! HD wheels has them
my cafe has black spokes and chrome rims
