Oil leaking from AN Big Sucker
Was out cleaning up the bike this afternoon and noticed that my Big Sucker was leaking some oil from where the backplate mounts up to the cylinders. The bolts were not torqued down very well so I cleaned everything up real good and reinstalled it all. Anyone else had this issue with intake? Hoping this takes care of the problem and I wont have to rip it back apart to try and replace the orings on the backplate.

I have oil leaking from the chrome plugs that cover the breather bolts ? I replaced the O-Rings twice but thet still drip and get oil all over. It's not much but enough to make a mess. Oh mine is a HD Heavy Breather Air Cleaner don't know if it's the same.

Be sure you don't over oil the filter when you clean it. I had that problem once on the Ness B/S and the whole right side of the bike got sprayed. Haven't had the problem on the SE Heavy Breather.

I had a small leak for several weeks before the dealer finally found a crack in the back plate.
New Big Sucker backing plate fixed that problem, and of course it came out of my pocket.
