Cobra versus V & H
I've narrowed my search for a replacement exhaust system down to a choice between V&H's Big Shots Staggered or Cobra's Speedster Slashdowns; either way I'll also be fitting a PC with K&N filter. Does anyone have experience of the Cobras i.e. quality, sound, blueing etc?

I am tied between the two as well. I am leaning torwards the Cobra. According to the pictures, it seems perfect for my taste. Covers the swingarm and axle nut. I am curious what people have to say about it. Also, as someone mentioned before... since it covers the axle nut, be prepared to toy around with it when you need to remove the rear wheel. I can turn a wrench, so it doesn't bother me. I don't plan on removing the wheel every weekend anyway!

i have vance and hines big shots staggerds on my 2005 ann.fat boy and 2006 super glide.awesome bad *** sound.very deed grumble.you will need to install power commander and se 1 kit.about 1200.00 bucks.

just bought the V&H straightshot HS slip-ons, they are nice! They look great and have a deep sound.

I have V&H big shot staggards on my 97 lowrider and they sound and look fantastic. I also noticed an increase in power in comparison to the stock exhaust it replaced. Im going to buy a Softtail Deuce next year and the first thing im going to do is put V&H Staggards on it also. I really like these pipes.

I have Cobra dragsters. Quality pipes and great sound. ( if you like it louddeep and hollow ) Lots of comments regarding the sound. Look great too, with full length heat shields ( but look like full chrome ) nicely finished with billet ends , Manufacture guarantee no blueing..
