is there any way i can remove the front wheel from my bike with a floor jack?
i dont have a motorcycle jack but if i can find one for a good price i'd buy one.
i need to take the front wheel off so i can polish the spokes that i sprayed some cleaner that was too stong on.
Get a floor jack... a nice flat piece of wood... 2x6. check under your bike to make sure your not squashing anything important.... i.e cluth cable, oil pan, or anything else lower than your frame. Need two people for this btw... place the jack and wood under your bike frame(somewhat center as as you can) One person stradle the bike other person lift the bike. Lift it just enough to place two jack stands under your forward foot peg mounts(where they mount to your frame). If you got them? Thats how i Did it on mine. Worked Great!!!

Did the same when i removed my front end. Used a tie down strap attached to each jack stand to keep the bike secured. Worked great. You will need help during the jacking operation to steady things before the jack stands are in place.
