How could I resist
So the misses and I met my sister at St.Croix HD in New Richmond yesterday, as sis was renting one for the weekend. I get to bs'in with one of the guys, he spots my Low Rider. He goes over, checks it out, and says "damn, you need a back tire", to which I respond with frustration that the thing only has 7500 miles on it, what a piece (the tire that is)........
He says, "hey, we got 25% off tires, and if you leave it overnight I can get you on the loaner of your choice (from rental fleet) for 25 bucks".
I 1st say naw, I am gonna figure out which tire, etc... when I park it for the season. Well, after 1/2 hour or so waitin on sis, I go and grab the guy, and say "what ta hell, get me a price". Well, he did and we spent the next 200 miles on an 09 Ultra Classic.
Am headin out here shortly to get mine back this morning. I miss it somethin fierce, and stand true to my belief that when I cross 60 should I live that long, I will shop for a bagger.
