Default Too much "buffalo"

I put 12" progressive rear shocks on my FXD and liked the way it rode. I then changed the triple trees and put in a 5 degree rake - now I have a bike that looks great but sits too high in the front; to the point that its not comfortable on a long ride and it seems to make the front end very light when I get up over 75.

Any suggestions on lowering kits for the front end will be appreciated.

Progressive makes a lowering front end kit that you just drop in. Or you can slide the tubes up into the tree's a bit more.

Say what??? An additional 5 degree rake would make the front end sit lower, not higher.

I just installed the progressive drop in fork lowering kit. Cut the height tubes to 5.0 inches. Lowered the front of the bike nicely and did not kill the bikes ride. Well worth the 100 bucks for the kit. Super simple to install. Click my link to see the picture of the kit installed.

I agree. Adding 5* additional rake should have made the front-end lower.....
Are you sure you didn`t take 5* out...???
