I'm running 10.5-1 on 91 octane with t-man 590 cams. NO detonation! No excess heat either. Also another vote for CR.

Bottom end is holding up fine so far. I made sure the runout was good before the build, and no problems in 6500 miles. No, I put the same clutch setup in that you have. Sucker starts getting old fairly quick in stop and go traffic don't it!

you got that rite, i took the pivot pin out of the lever and held the clutch cable straight up and dripped half a tube of that harley lube into it its that stuff that looks like a syringe needle made a big difference you should try it
tareing the engine down to do sum port work and bumping up the compression to 9.6to1 the builder is trying to talk me into 10to1 is anyone having detination issues with 10to1 and will there be that much more gain with the higher compression ratio
I'm running 10.5 compression in my bike. NO DETONATION issues. I run premium fuel from the top tier companies... Shell, Exxon, etc. when the temps here in Texas are over 90 degrees. I run the mid grade fuel when temps are less than 90 degrees. The engine is also equipped with an oil cooler.
I notice alot of people saying they are running +10:1. One thing you have to remember is that compression and cams go hand and hand. Fuel also plays a role, but if you do 10.5:1 with an andrews 37 cam you will have headaches. Just make sure you stay within the cam manufacturors recommended compression ratio.

I lubed it once, and that helped a bunch, it's about time to do it again tho.

That was a factor with me going with the 37's, I didn't want that much compression, I know it makes more power but the fuel quality is going downhill. I've seen a few people having problems already.
