How tough was the 1" rear drop? The one I got from ADM on ebayy was supposed to come with detailed instructions (none inclosed).

Are you talking about the lowering blocks?

It's 2 bolts...do you really need instructions?

Yes...... I do! I have no bike lift, and am not a mechanic. It might be "two bolts", but it's a very expensive bike! I received no instructions from the company, and would like some advice, so if there's anyone who'd like to give me some valuable advice, as to where these "two bolts" (it's actually three) go, it would be much appreciated. Here's a picture of the kit I bought.

Hey skipper..just put a floor jack under your bike and jack it up...put your blocks on and lower your bike to the height to line up the bolts. On one side you use the nut and the other side you dont.My cel # is 315 271-9953....give me a call when your doing it and ill walk ya through....by the way there the same blocks i bought for mine....there a nice piece. Kevin P.S......on the right side of the bike(exhaust side) you use the stock bolt and nut for the front mount hole which bolts bracket to swingarm and use the one of the new long bolts to mount shock. On the left side use the short bolt provided to mount to the swing arm with no nut and use a long bolt to mount the shock.Thats your three bolts as you use a stock bolt and nut for the right front...ok.Use a touch of blue loctite also....ok...again feel free to call me when ya do it...ok......good luck

If I were going to lower my bike...I'd get a set of shorter shocks. Ebay is a good place to find what you need at a reasonable price. Although I've never used them, I don't think I would ever use those lowering blocks. I dunno...they just don't look like a good idea to me.
