I would like to thank everyone for their help on this subject, I will be going to the Florida Keys for the offshore powerboat races then off to homestead for the final nascar race of the year.
I will be taking my motorhome, cousins bike, and family along, I guess I could tie them to the back of the bike and ride the bike down so I would not have to trailer the bike down but I prefer the other option.
For those nay sayers to trailering I trailer my bike every time I move, how else do you get your bike from 1 location with all your crap and 2 trucks to another. I know drive the trucks fly back and ride your bike back? Does not make any sense to me. Also I move about 4-6 times a year (construction work). So don't say trailering is wrong, I think living in one place for more than 6 months is bad. How else do you get to go to the great places around the USA while getting paid for it.
On the trailering issue, I always check after about 50 miles and tighten the straps, then in about another 75-100 miles and tighten again, then after that every time I stop to fill up. It has worked great for me. I have trailered my bike about 4000 miles across the US and back with no issues. 2 in the front 1 in the back for tiedowns and a wheel chock.
Jake, that is a sweet a$$ paint job.
When I bought mine I trailered it home from IA to CO, about 650 miles. Uhaul trailer, 7 ties and no chalk. That was the most nerve racking 9 hrs of my life. I will never trailer again without a chalk.

WOOOOOOO. Hold Up. A Harley on a trailer. Please, for the love of God. Before you hit the road pull all the HD badges and stick some Honda badges on it.
Unfortunately, I don't have a thing constructive (or derisive) to add this thread. Just wanted to say: Dood, your avatar is just tearing me up!
