Hi Rene (and Mud), great job you've done here! It looks like you've inspired the MoCo to do the same finally.
Now, in the main Harley Davidson USA website, under the "PARTS" section you can now select your model year bike accessories and a .pdf instruction sheet is available to download. About time they made these available!

I also changed over to a Street Bob exhaust system as the heat shield on the FatBob one fouls the brake pedal.
Once I had the part assembled it took me a couple of hours and I don't have a workshop, it was in the corner of a communal garage in our apartment block.

The database has reached its maximum number of characters (25.000) so I decided to split up the info in post 1 and post 2.
